About Lead Wall Lining
Radiation Services Group can supply a wide variety of lead lined board for the effective protection against X-ray radiation. Lead Lined Wall board provides a flexible solution to your radiation shielding requirements with benefits including:
- Sheets supplied with lead shielding up to the specified height only. Effectively reducing cost per sheet as well as overall handling weight.
- Ability to select the lead guage suitable for your application whilst maintaining a single layer partition system, reducing costs associated with installation compared to multi-layer alternatives such as 'lead-free barium board'. A must-have when space is a premium.
- Lead lining can be bonded to a variety of board to meet any performance requirement such as fire rating, accoustic rating, impact resistance, moisture resistance and hygene control.
Lead Lined Gypsum
Perfect for low energy applications (OPG/CBCT Rooms, Operating Theatres etc). Lead Lined Gypsum plasterboard is suitable for applications up to 10kg.m² (0.88mm).

Lead Lined Impact Board
For higher energy applications (X-Ray Rooms, CT Rooms, Hybrid Theatres etc). Impact resistant plasterboard is used for its additional structural strength preventing breakages from occuring, making it easier to handle during installation. Lead Lined Impact Board is suitable for applications up to 30kg.m² (2.64mm). The lead can also be extended to 2400mmH (for CT Room applications) or full height where required.
